National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Summer Internship
The NCHC National Office is offering a summer internship experience in honors education. The internship will be approximately two months in duration and will be located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Click here to apply. The deadline for applications is May 1.

Music, Art and Drama (MAD)
Do you need a 1-2 hour field experience or internship for the 2015 summer II or fall semester? Does leading children and youth in activities related to music, art and drama outdoors sound like a good time? If so, the MAD Camp experience on Beaver Island might be for you. This day camp, founded by former honors college advisor Sue Oole, will be held on Beaver Island from July 20-24. MAD is looking for student directors for camp programs in arts and crafts, dance and music performance. The arrival date for MAD camp is July 17 for directors. The camp provides transportation to Beaver Island from the mainland, lodging and meals for student directors. Capitol Internship Program
Interested in a career in government? Lee Honors College welcomes all majors to apply for this four to seven credit hour spring 2016 internship in Lansing. Current placements include positions with the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center, the State Senate, the Republican Communications Office, the State House and the Michigan Environmental Council. MLCV
The Michigan League of Conservation Voters is looking for interns! Michigan LCV is the political voice for Michigan’s lands, waters, air, and Great Lakes. Plug in with an issues based campaign operating at the grassroots level and gain experience in community organizing, event planning and team building. Michigan Democratic Coordinated Campaign
Internships and Fellowship programs are available for students interested in learning the nuts and bolts of how a campaign works and helping to elect Democratic candidates from across the state. Hours are flexible, and no experience is necessary. Participants will learn how to run a local field program and a successful “Get Out the Vote” operation while networking within the profession. The Michigan Republican Party
The Michigan Republican Party is looking for interns who want to witness and learn the inner-workings of the Michigan Republican Party. Interns will work at the office headquarters in Lansing, and out of other regional office locations meeting elected officials, attending special “behind the scenes” events and more. Duties of interns can include but are not limited to: writing scripts for press releases, planning and staffing events, engaging in research, implementing grassroots strategies and more.
