Our PSST is famous! Check out this article in the Western Herald, “The Peer Student Success Team helps make inclusive campus for freshmen”.
Keegan Ratfliff, a fellow honors student, is interested in starting a Curling RSO.
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target that is segmented into four concentric circles. This Olympic sport not only takes a bit of athleticism but also quite a bit of strategy and is ALWAYS a great time.
Two honors students are needed to help bring this unique sport to WMU by being a “founding father (or mother)” of the Curling RSO.
If you have any interest in this, please email Keegan.M.Ratcliff@wmich.edu. Everyone is welcome to join!
HOPE LINE boxes are available around campus and in the honors college main office to donate old cell phones, accessories and chargers. Your donation will benefit victims and survivors of domestic violence. The Kalamazoo YWCA and Western Michigan University are partnering to try to win a $10,000 donation to support Dating & Domestic Violence Prevention in our campus community. Learn more about Verizon’s commitment to end domestic violence at verizon.com/hopeline.
