Diversity and Leadership Institute at WMU
The office of Student Activities and Leadership Programs presents the 2016 Diversity and Leadership Institute at WMU. This institute will offer opportunities for participants to enhance their leadership abilities as they learn about what it means to be a leader in a diverse world and how to become a stronger leader, and how to take action on social justice issues. The event is on Friday, Feb. 19, 1 to 6 p.m., Trimpe Hall.

Faculty and students who attend the Diversity and Leadership Institute could have conversations based on the following questions:

  • As a student, how can I create a positive social impact keeping diversity and social justice in mind?
  • What opportunities for leadership in social justice are there available to you?
  • What issues do you see in diversity on this campus?

Learn more about this event and register here. If you have any questions about the Diversity and Leadership Institute, please email Beth Brandon at salp-cabga@wmich.edu.
