New this Week – Week of Feb. 14

Did you miss Siddhartha Roy’s lecture, “Science as a Force for Public Good” on Tuesday? You can still catch the recording here. Roy is a doctoral student and the communications director for the Virginia Tech research team that broke the news on the Flint Water crisis.

Do you know a faculty or staff member that has gone above and beyond in their career? Nominations are now open for the Distinguished Service Award (DSA), Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA), and the Emerging Scholar Award (ESA). Learn more about the criteria and nominate someone here.

Congratulations to the winners of the Neil deGrasse Tyson ticket contest! Please check your emails for an email from Dr. Koretsky on specific information.
