FOCUS Kalamazoo is a Registered Student Organization that connects individuals and groups to volunteer with different non-profit organizations in the Kalamazoo area. Any individual may volunteer for any reason. The volunteer dates for this semester are:
- Oct. 23 at Rickman House from 3 to 5 p.m.
- Nov. 19 at Habitat for Humanity from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Dec. 3 at Friendship Village from 10:30 a.m. to noon

The Air Zoo:

High School to Health Career Mentor Program:
Western Regional Area Health Education Center is seeking honors college mentors for their High School to Health Career Mentor Program. Mentors are matched with a Van Buren County high school student interested in a health career. This program begins in November and runs through April 2017. Discussion outlines are provided for every meeting. Mentors are required to travel to Lawrence just three times. The remaining meetings may be held remotely via phone, email, Skype or Google Hangout.
