Letter from the Editor – The Laureate Submission Opportunities:
Hello friends of writing and art!

The Lee Honors College publication, The Laureate, is currently accepting submissions from WMU undergraduate students in all fields of study. Our literary journal is a free annual student publication funded through the Lee Honors College.

Submissions may include poetry, prose, flash fiction, graphic art, non-fiction, photography, etc. Please contact the editors for submission formatting specifications for art pieces. Lengthy short stories or plays should be limited to under 15 pages and may be subject to being excerpted by the editors for publication, with approval from the author.

All creative works submitted to TheLaureateCollection@Gmail.com by Dec. 31 will be considered. Multiple submissions are encouraged!

The journal will be published in April and a reading will be held at the Lee Honors College. There is no fee to submit and the publication will be published online for all to enjoy, with hard copies of the publication available to the contributors.

Attached is a flier with additional information. We are also available to visit and briefly speak to classes about our publication. This is a great opportunity for young writers and artists to get their work published.

Search for us on Facebook @TheLaureateCollection, where you will find updates, writing prompts, and other general information.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Nick Alti
