New this Week – Week of Oct. 17

Welcome to a new week Broncos. As you approach midterms, we wish you good luck with your exams and papers!

Once again, there are many opportunities to get connected, get involved and get focused in this week’s newsletter, so be sure to click through each page to get the information you need.

Metropolitan Series:
The Lee Honors College continues its tradition of an annual bus trip to Chicago this year through the Metropolitan Series! On Nov. 5, students will have a chance to explore Shedd Aquarium, do some shopping downtown and enjoy a day in the city of Chicago. Complete the registration form and drop it off at the honors college front desk, along with your cash or check, to reserve your spot on the bus!

The Lee Honors College sponsors four trips throughout the Midwest, which include but are not limited to: Detroit, Chicago, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. The 2016-17 year will feature trips to the Detroit Zoo, Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, the Arab-American Museum in Dearborn and another trip that is still in the planning stages! Our Metropolitan Series focuses on providing honors students with a chance to get to know each other better while also encouraging cultural engagement. These trips are provided to students at little to no cost, and information on registering for each trip will be made available one month in advance. We look forward to seeing you!

Friendly Reminders and Helpful Hints:
Students receive credit for attending honors college sponsored events by swiping their Bronco Cards with a member of the honors college staff and remaining for the duration of the program.

All honors college forms related to advising can be found under the Advising tab on the website:
