Student Success Services:
Student Success Services is offering volunteer opportunities for students interested in tutoring at the Bronco Study Zone in Waldo Library or the Math and Science Success Center in Eicher Hall.
Volunteers can offer tutoring assistance for any course in which they have earned an A or BA (or equivalent transfer credit). Free training on the tutoring process is provided before starting, and volunteers are invited to attend one additional training session each month to review tutoring strategies and success activities for students.
If you would like to add tutoring and mentoring experience to your resume, further develop your interpersonal communication skills, and are interested in helping others succeed academically, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region can help students find volunteer opportunities. Contact Ben at email@example.com or call the information number 2-1-1 to be connected with non-profit organizations who are looking for volunteers.
