New! Hybrid Section of HNRS 4980 – How and Why to Write an Honors Thesis – Spring 2017
By popular demand, we have added a hybrid section of HNRS 4980 How and Why to Write an Honors Thesis for spring 2017! (CRN 16162) Three face-to-face meetings for the course have been scheduled, and students must be available to meet at these times in order to enroll in the course.
Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Face-to-face meetings will include a faculty panel to answer your questions about the thesis process and what they consider a “good” thesis; time to discuss areas that are particularly frustrating – like those pesky citations!; and the opportunity to discuss thesis ideas with your peers for some constructive feedback.
Students enrolled in other sections who prefer the hybrid instructional method are encouraged to drop their current section and add the new one. This section is filling up quickly, so don’t delay in registering. Questions about the course may be directed to Jennifer Townsend at firstname.lastname@example.org.
