The Lee Honors College offers many cultural and social events designed to build community and expand horizons. Honors students are required to attend four honors college sponsored events in their freshman year and two in their sophomore year. Students receive credit for attending by swiping their Bronco Cards with a member of the honors college staff, and remaining for the duration of the program. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in as many events as possible to enhance their educational experience at the Lee Honors College.
The fall 2016 Mix-It-Up series continues Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. with two important and interesting topics presented at two different locations. If you would like to learn more about the opportunities provided to you through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and the Lee Honors College, head over to the Parkview Campus, Floyd Hall, room D-109, to listen and engage with Dr. Carla Koretsky, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Geosciences. If you are in the Pre-Medicine program, you’ll want to visit the Lee Honors College lounge where Tammi Smith, Assistant Director of Academic Advising in the College of Arts and Sciences, will be covering the opportunities and experiences recommended for a pre-med track. Refreshments will be served at both locations.
