Honors College Sponsored Events – Week of Nov. 21

The Lee Honors College offers many cultural and social events designed to build community and expand horizons. Honors students are required to attend four honors college sponsored events in their freshman year and two in their sophomore year. Students receive credit for attending by swiping their Bronco Cards with a member of the honors college staff, and remaining for the duration of the program. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in as many events as possible to enhance their educational experience at the Lee Honors College.

Due to the shortened holiday week, our next Lyceum Lecture Series and  Mix-It-Up  events will be Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Stay tuned to next week’s newsletter for details.

Metropolitan Series: Chicago Bus Trip
On Nov. 5, honors students enjoyed the annual bus trip to Chicago with Advising Graduate Assistant, Mariam Mustafa. The group attended Shedd Aquarium and had a day in the city to explore, shop and discover. This trip is part of our Metropolitan Series, which seeks to engage students in experiential learning opportunities in places of metropolitan growth.
