YWCA Children’s Shelter Services Internship:
The YWCA Children’s Shelter Services has many volunteer opportunities year-round! Take part in programming provided for children living within their Domestic Violence Shelter. Volunteers are needed for a variety of days and times. Many after-hours opportunities are available, including but not limited to: reading stories, music/movement activities, arts and crafts, outdoor play/activities, playtime in the gym, modeling healthy interactions during play and mealtimes, and creating/providing tools which support emotional wellness.
This is an excellent internship opportunity for social work, education and psychology majors. However, all majors are welcome and volunteering will fulfill honors college community service hours. Email Trina Jones or call (269) 345-5595 to apply.
