Honors College Sponsored Events – Week of April 24

The Lee Honors College offers many cultural and social events designed to build community and expand horizons. Honors students are required to attend four honors college sponsored events in their freshman year and two in their sophomore year. Students receive credit for attending by swiping their Bronco Cards with a member of the honors college staff, and remaining for the duration of the program. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in as many events as possible to enhance their educational experience at the Lee Honors College.

Metropolitan Series: Chicago Bus Trip
The honors college created a new tradition this year by adding a spring bus trip to Chicago with Advising Graduate Assistant Mariam Mustafa. On March 18 students visited Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry throughout the morning. The rest of the day was spent exploring the city and shopping downtown. This trip is part of our Metropolitan Series, which seeks to engage students in experiential learning opportunities in places of metropolitan growth.

Thank you to honors student, Caitlin Koob, for providing another fun photo and quote from the trip: “It was a lot of fun and a great experience!”
